MY STORY

At 28, I was fully devoted to an active lifestyle, keeping up with a social life, family/relationships, eating relatively well- all while being a full-time student and working as a medical assistant. But in October of 2018, I started missing my workouts and days at work. I had frequent visits to the ER and urgent care with multiple labs and imaging. No answers. I had severe shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pains, derealization, numbness/tingling, severe headaches, difficulty swallowing, acid reflux..the list goes on.

As the months went on, my health did not improve and my body just felt as if it were shutting down. I couldn’t keep up at my job or in school. Everything started to become very difficult and I couldn’t focus anymore like I used to. I knew deep down something was wrong and that I felt that my body was trying to tell me something, but I just couldn’t figure it out what it was. I wanted SO badly to figure out what was making me sick. Most doctors and even people close to me would just keep saying “oh, it's all in your head, you are totally fine. It's probably anxiety or stress.”

After seeing specialist after specialist, I took the holistic route and saw a naturopathic doctor. I was finally diagnosed with toxic mold syndrome from my car, 2 years after the onset of my symptoms. In addition to my diagnosis, I pursued to do more labs/tests and was also diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus and Lyme disease. Many people actually carry EBV and have absolutely no idea. In fact, 95% of Americans have it. It is one of the most commonly reactivated viruses and can be reactivated with mold exposure and Lyme disease. I couldn’t believe that it had taken me nearly two to almost three years to receive a proper diagnosis for the many symptoms that had ailed me. It was an overwhelming journey, but bittersweet. That I could finally work towards healing my body and restoring it back to health. After changing my diet, detoxing through herbal supplements, sauna/dry brushing, mind/body practices, acupuncture and an overall holistic lifestyle, I have thankfully been able to heal myself and be free of disease. Which is why I am here to help YOU, get to the root cause of your illness.
